Responsibilities
- Safely load, unload, pack, and organize household or commercial items using appropriate equipment such as dollies, pallet jacks, or forklifts
- Operate box trucks and other commercial vehicles with manual transmission to transport belongings efficiently and securely
- Plan and execute route driving to ensure timely deliveries and pickups while adhering to safety regulations
- Assist customers with loading and unloading their possessions, providing excellent customer service throughout the process
- Use proper lifting techniques for heavy items to prevent injury and damage during moves
- Maintain vehicle cleanliness, perform routine inspections, and report any mechanical issues promptly
- Follow safety protocols at all times during loading, transportation, and unloading activities
Qualifications
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; experience with commercial driving preferred
- Prior experience in moving, warehouse work, or delivery driving is highly desirable, but not required.
- Ability to lift heavy objects repeatedly throughout the day with proper technique
- Familiarity with warehouse equipment such as forklifts or pallet jacks is a plus
- Strong customer service skills with a positive attitude and professional demeanor
- Knowledge of route driving and navigation tools to optimize delivery schedules
- Comfortable working in physically demanding environments and handling manual tasks confidently
