We Are Seeking An Associate With a Minimum Of 5–7 Years Of Transactional Municipal Experience To Join Our Expanding Public Law Team. The Ideal Candidate Will Have
- Significant experience advising public agency clients on transactional matters
- Excellent writing, research, drafting, and analytical skills
- Strong work ethic, self-starter, and team-oriented mindset
- Ability to manage matters independently and interface directly with public officials and staff
- Admission to the State Bar of California
- Draft and negotiate public works contracts, professional services agreements, development agreements, joint powers agreements, and other municipal transactional documents
- Advise public agency clients regarding compliance with public contracting requirements, open meeting laws, conflict of interest regulations, and related statutory frameworks
- Prepare staff reports, resolutions, ordinances, and related agenda materials
- Attend and present at city council, board, and commission meetings as needed
- Assist with procurement processes, including drafting and reviewing RFPs and bid documents
- Collaborate with colleagues across practice areas on matters involving land use, real estate, infrastructure, and regulatory compliance

Salary : $170,000 - $206,000
