Position Overview:

We are excited to announce a new and evolving opportunity within our company: the Front of House Manager in Training! This is a full-time position designed for individuals who are eager to develop leadership skills in an innovative and dynamic environment. As this role is being created from the ground up, you’ll have the unique opportunity to help shape the position and make a meaningful impact on our company’s front-of-house operations.

You will work closely with our leadership team to gain the skills and experience needed to take on day-to-day front-of-house management responsibilities. This position includes rotating through various levels of training with increasing responsibility and oversight, as well as regular check-ins and competency evaluations.

Since this is a new role, your initiative, ideas, and contributions will play a key part in developing and refining it as we go along. Your performance and leadership will directly influence your growth within the company, both in terms of responsibility and compensation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Customer Service Excellence: Provide exceptional customer service and ensure all customer interactions are handled professionally and promptly.
  • Inventory Management: Assist with ordering, receiving, stocking, and rotating retail and pharmacy items to ensure stock is always in optimal condition.
  • Staffing & Scheduling: Support staffing and scheduling tasks, with the goal of independently managing clerk and technician schedules.
  • Training New Hires: Lead and assist in training new hires, ensuring they are proficient in clerk procedures and best practices.
  • Compliance & Operations: Help ensure adherence to compliance standards, including recordkeeping and operational procedures, and eventually take on leadership responsibilities in this area.
  • OvertheCounter (OTC) Department Oversight: Oversee and grow the OTC department by managing merchandising, profit margin analysis, and ensuring profitability goals are met.
  • CrossTraining Opportunities: Participate in crosstraining across key operational areas, including Durable Medical Equipment (DME), RX and DME delivery, longterm care (LTC), and compounding operations.
  • Position Evolution: Contribute to the development and refinement of the Front of House Manager in Training position as we create it together, helping to define the responsibilities and scope of the role.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: Previous experience in retail or customerfacing roles preferred but not required. A strong eagerness to learn and grow is essential.
  • Leadership Potential: A strong desire to develop leadership skills and take on progressively greater responsibility.
  • CustomerFocused: Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to engage with customers in a professional, friendly, and effective manner.
  • Attention to Detail: Ability to manage multiple tasks and ensure accuracy in all aspects of operations.
