Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and skilled Tow Truck Driver to join our team. As a Tow Truck Driver, you will be responsible for providing roadside assistance, towing vehicles, and ensuring the safe transport of vehicles to designated locations. Duties
- Operate tow trucks and other vehicles safely and efficiently.
- Respond promptly to calls for towing services and roadside assistance.
- Load and unload vehicles using proper techniques to prevent damage.
- Conduct mechanical inspections of vehicles before towing.
- Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients.
- Manage conflicts professionally when dealing with distressed customers.
- Maintain accurate records of services performed and vehicle conditions.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations while driving.
- Perform basic maintenance on tow trucks as needed.
Requirements
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; experience driving manual transmission is preferred.
- Valid Tow Authorization card is required.
- Proven mechanical knowledge and experience in automotive repair or as a mechanic.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to manage conflict effectively.
- Experience in loading and unloading vehicles safely.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends if necessary.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
