Part-Time Concession Worker

Position: Part-time Concession Worker

Department: Recreation

Hiring Range: $13.57

Closing Date: Open Until Filled

Description Of Work

An employee in this class participates in sales and inventory control in County concessions. Responsibilities include taking gate receipts at County athletic activities. Work involves operation of a variety of fast foods preparation and dispensing equipment. Working conditions are not adverse, but work hours are irregular and lengthy during athletic events at the County’s recreation sites. Work is performed under direction of the Concession Supervisor. Requires ability to count money received and dispense accurate change; ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with other employees; and ability to deal tactfully with the public. Workdays may include some Sundays.

Special Requirements

Applicant must be at least 14 years of age. The position requires working in several different Burke County locations.
