Income Maintenance Caseworker III Lead - Family and Children's Medicaid #51769

Department: Social Services

Hiring Range: $44,803.00 - $53,789.00 ($21.54 - $25.86 per hour)

Description Of Work

Coaching, training, and review of work of Income Maintenance staff in the Family and Children’s Medicaid programs. Interviewing applicants and determining initial and ongoing eligibility for Family and Children’s Medicaid and other related programs according to state and federal regulations.

Knowledge And Skill Requirements

• Ability to use computers and be proficient in Microsoft and web-based programs
• Ability to meet the public in a professional manner
• Possess excellent communication skills both orally and in written form
• Ability to produce a large volume of work accurately and timely
• Be organized, able to retain information, and make sound decisions
• Ability to multitask, work under pressure and meet deadlines
  
  

Minimum Training And Experience Requirements

Two years of experience as an Income Maintenance Caseworker; or an equivalent combination of training and experience.

Special Requirements

• In accordance with North Carolina House Bill 612, candidates will be required to undergo an SBI fingerprint criminal background investigation
• Must possess maintain a valid driver’s license
