Duties

• Operate hand tools, power tools, and landscaping equipment such as mowers, trimmers, and blowers to maintain lawns and gardens
• Perform lawn care tasks including mowing, edging, fertilizing, aerating, and overseeding to keep turf healthy and vibrant
• Conduct landscape maintenance activities like planting, pruning, tree trimming, shrubbery care, and flower bed upkeep
• Use machinery such as excavators for site preparation or hardscape installation projects involving paving or stonework
• Assist with irrigation system installation, inspection, and repairs to ensure efficient watering of all landscaped areas
• Support snow plowing operations during winter months to keep pathways safe and accessible
• Carry out general grounds maintenance including trash removal, debris clearing, fencing repairs, and hardscape upkeep

Requirements

• Basic mechanical knowledge with experience handling hand tools and power tools safely and effectively
• Familiarity with lawn care practices and landscape maintenance techniques
• Ability to operate equipment such as mowers, trimmers, excavators, and snow plows with proper safety precautions
• Strong physical stamina with the ability to stand, walk, lift heavy objects, and perform outdoor tasks in various weather conditions
• Excellent teamwork skills with a proactive attitude towards learning new skills in groundskeeping and outdoor maintenance
• Pay Rate is $23.00 - $24.00 to start depending on experience.
