Job Overview
Our team is seeking a highly motivated, self starting, and detail-oriented
Draftsman/ designer/ manager to join our team. In this role, you will assist with drawing, designing and communicating design work and assisting with project management activities. We value passion and experience over just formal education. You must be job ready and capable of hand drawing detailed sketches quickly on site and in meetings. Must be able to think critically and on your feet. You must be able to think, design and manage “out side the box”. From there your job will be to get those drawings to come to life on the computer. This is a real job, with real work and requires someone with focus and attention to detail and time management.
Responsibilities
Develop detailed 2D and 3D CAD drawings AutoCAD, Revit, and HSB
Assist with Project management and estimating
Collaborate with engineers, architects, and project managers
Prepare construction documentation, including layouts, sections, elevations, and detailed drawings for fabrication on CNC timber framing equipment.
Maintain organized digital files of all drawings, revisions, and project documentation for easy access
Requirements
-Proven experience with CAD software such as AutoCAD, Revit, HSB
-Strong understanding of mechanical design principles and drafting standards.
-Strong and quick math skills
-Familiarity with architectural or civil enginesring structural principles
-Experience and Knowledge of construction processes and building codes
