Responsibilities
- Process and manage payroll for all employees in a timely and accurate manner.
- Calculate wages, overtime, benefits, tax deductions, and any commissions or bonuses.
- Ensure full compliance with all US federal, state, and local payroll regulations and tax laws.
- Maintain precise and confidential payroll records and employee data.
- Address and resolve any payroll-related discrepancies or employee queries promptly and professionally.
- Prepare and submit payroll reports for management and accounting purposes.
- Collaborate closely with the Human Resources and Finance departments to ensure seamless operations.
- Proven experience working as a Payroll Clerk or in a similar financial administration role.
- A strong understanding of payroll processes, best practices, and US legislation.
- Proficiency in using payroll software and MS Office, particularly Excel.
- Exceptional numerical skills and a high level of attention to detail.
- Excellent organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to meet strict deadlines.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- The ability to handle confidential information with the utmost discretion and integrity.
- A qualification in finance, accounting, or a related field is desirable but not essential.
