Kush 21 offers a fun, fast-paced, innovative, and efficient workplace. We are seeking an experienced, organized, and dependable Inventory Manager to lead inventory operations, maintain regulatory compliance, and support the continued growth of our team.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Lead, train, coach, and support inventory team members.
  • Coordinate daily inventory operations, delegate responsibilities, and ensure all assigned tasks are completed accurately and on time.
  • Enter data and process inventory transactions using the company’s inventory management and point-of-sale systems.
  • Oversee the receiving process and conduct quality-assurance verification audits for all incoming orders.
  • Ensure incoming products, manifests, invoices, and supporting documentation comply with company policies and Washington State cannabis regulations.
  • Immediately communicate compliance concerns, delivery issues, and inventory discrepancies to the appropriate management team.
  • Conduct daily, quarterly, and periodic inventory audits and cycle counts.
  • Research inventory discrepancies, determine their causes, and implement corrective actions.
  • Maintain accurate inventory levels and ensure products are correctly entered, labeled, stored, transferred, and accounted for.
  • Monitor product movement, inventory adjustments, damaged products, returns, and vendor credits.
  • Maintain complete and organized inventory records, invoices, manifests, audit reports, and compliance documentation.
  • Establish and maintain inventory-control procedures that reduce errors, loss, and product discrepancies.
  • Collaborate with store leadership, purchasing, vendors, and other departments to support product availability and operational efficiency.
  • Identify inventory trends, aging products, low-stock items, and other concerns that may affect store performance.
  • Prepare inventory reports and communicate relevant findings to senior management.
  • Ensure inventory areas are clean, secure, organized, and compliant with company standards.
  • Use scanners, tablets, computers, printers, copiers, and other electronic equipment.
  • Maintain a professional appearance and follow all dress-code and hygiene standards.
  • Support store operations and assist with budtending when needed.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Previous inventory-management or supervisory experience is strongly preferred.
  • Cannabis retail inventory experience and knowledge of Washington State cannabis regulations are preferred.
  • Strong understanding of inventory flow, receiving, auditing, reconciliation, loss prevention, and accountability.
  • Excellent leadership, organizational, problem-solving, and time-management skills.
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to communicate professionally in person, by telephone, and through email.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and remain calm, proactive, and resourceful in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency with computers and electronic equipment, including scanners, tablets, printers, and copiers.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office or similar business applications is preferred.
  • Ability to maintain professionalism and confidentiality when working with employees at all levels.
  • Availability to work a rotating schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Ability to answer telephone calls and provide exceptional internal and external customer service.
  • Ability to perform cleaning and organizational tasks as required.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
  • Ability to bend, reach, carry, and perform other physical tasks associated with inventory management.
  • Ability to perform repetitive motions involving typing, filing, scanning, and frequent use of the hands and wrists.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $23.00 per hour
