Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive diagnostics using advanced automotive diagnostic tools to identify issues accurately.
• Conduct repairs and maintenance on various vehicle systems including engines, transmissions, electrical systems, brakes, suspension, and steering.
• Utilize schematics and technical manuals to interpret vehicle wiring diagrams and repair procedures effectively.
• Repair or replace powertrain components, ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems), and perform wheel alignments to ensure vehicle safety and performance.
• Use hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other specialized automotive repair tools to complete repairs efficiently.
• Conduct vehicle inspections to assess mechanical condition and recommend necessary repairs or maintenance services.
• Ensure all work complies with dealership standards, safety regulations, and manufacturer specifications while delivering excellent customer service.

Requirements

• Proven dealership experience with a strong background in automotive repair and service technician roles.
• Extensive knowledge of automotive electrical systems, schematics, ADAS technology, transmissions, diesel engines, and powertrain components.
• Hands-on experience with automotive diagnostics tools and auto estimating software is highly desirable.
• Mechanical knowledge complemented by proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and alignment machines.
• Ability to diagnose complex issues related to GM vehicles or similar makes; familiarity with diesel engine repair is a plus.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly to clients.
• Valid mechanic license or certification as required by local regulations; ongoing training in automotive technology is preferred.
