Burian & Associates is expanding and our Brand New office on the University of North Dakota campus needs a proven leader to help grow our presence in the region.
We're seeking an Operations Manager who thrives on building client relationships, leading people, and shaping strategy. This is a rate opportunity to lead a new office, influence company direction, and make a visible impact on the communities we serve.
What You'll Do
- Lead daily operations of the Grand Forks office (managing people, projects, and performance)
- Build and strengthen client relationships across municipal, water, wastewater, and civil projects
- Guide projects from design through construction support, ensuring quality and client satisfaction
- Mentor engineers and support career development within your team
What You Bring
- Bachelor's degree in Civil, Environmental, or related Engineering field
- Active PE license (or ability to obtain North Dakota PE within 6 months)
- 5 years of experience in municipal, water, wastewater, or civil engineering
- Proven leadership in project management and client relations
- Strong communication and relationship building skills
