We are seeking a dedicated Poultry Processor to join our food processing plant. Responsibilities
- Perform poultry processing tasks including slaughtering, evisceration, and meat cutting using appropriate knife skills and mechanical tools
- Ensure all products meet quality standards through proper inspection and trimming
- Operate equipment safely in accordance with OSHA guidelines and company protocols
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work areas following HACCP and sanitation procedures
- Package finished products accurately for distribution, ensuring proper labeling and handling
- Follow food safety regulations diligently, including HACCP protocols, to prevent contamination
- Assist in maintaining documentation related to food safety, sanitation, and process controls
- Adhere to all safety guidelines related to the handling of knives, machinery, and poultry products
Skills
- Knowledge of OSHA safety standards and sanitation procedures in a food processing environment
- Experience with HACCP compliance and food safety regulations
- Background in manufacturing or food processing industries preferred
