Job Summary
The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Unit Supervisor oversees daily nursing operations on the unit while providing direct patient care. This role works closely with physicians and the interdisciplinary team to ensure safe, high-quality, and compliant care for all patients.
Full & Part-Time positions are available on the following shifts, 7:00am -3:30pm, 3:00pm-11:30pm, and 11:00pm-7:30pm.
Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) New Hire Bonuses apply for 3:00pm-11:30pm and 11:00pm-7:30am shifts only.
Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) New Graduate Bonuses are available on the for 3:00pm-11:30pm and 11:00pm-7:30am shifts only.

Key Responsibilities of Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
- Supervise and support PCTs and nursing staff on assigned unit
- Coordinate clinical rounds and collaborate with physicians/NPs
- Deliver and oversee patient care, including medication administration
- Monitor patient conditions and report changes promptly
- Complete admissions, chart reviews, and discharge documentation
- Ensure regulatory compliance with facility, state, and federal requirements
- Lead staff training, coaching, and performance improvement efforts
- Investigate incidents and maintain accurate documentation
- Promote infection control, patient safety, and quality outcomes
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and care teams
Qualifications
- Current Illinois Licensed Practical Nurse license
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program
- Strong clinical judgment, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to lead a team in a fast-paced healthcare environment
Physical & Work Environment
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and assist with patient mobility
- Frequent standing, walking, and bending
- Exposure to clinical and infectious environments (PPE provided)
