B&N Project Manager / Roadway Engineer Responsibilities
- Actively lead projects for ODOT and local agencies, has existing relationships and interest in developing relationships with ODOT and local agencies
- Lead quality review processes and has knowledge of local and state standards and preferences
- Lead the design and monitor task performance indicators such as budget, schedule, and risk
- Maintain quality control of the work product
- Mentor junior level staff and collaborate with Operation Leaders, Project Managers, and Professional Engineers across the firm
- Support proposal development and client relationship management with local and state agencies
- Bachelor of Science degree from an ABET accredited civil or transportation engineering program
- PE registration in the State of Ohio, or ability to be registered with reciprocity
- 5 years of related roadway design and project management experience. Knowledge of ODOT design standards is a plus
- Experience leading design tasks or serving as roadway design lead
- Prior proposal development and client relationship management experience is desirable. Relationships with ODOT or local agencies a plus
- Proficient in MS Office
- Experience with Bentley OpenRoads/Civil 3D a plus
- Great communication and team leadership skills
- Self-motivated and adaptable, including the capability to learn virtual collaboration tools·
