We’re expanding our presence in the Pacific Northwest and are looking for a motivated Project Manager / Bridge Engineer to help lead and deliver bridge design projects from our Portland, Oregon office. What You’ll Do
Manage the delivery of bridge design projects, ensuring a high-quality, client-focused experience for agencies such as ODOT, as well as cities and counties throughout Oregon
- Lead bridge design and production efforts for ODOT and local agency projects
- Monitor project performance, including scope, budgets, schedules, and risk management
- Collaborate with technical experts and project teams across the firm to solve complex engineering challenges
- Support project pursuits and contribute to proposal development
- Play a role in shaping B&N’s Bridge Services marketing strategy, with a focus on repeat work and client growth
- Coach and mentor junior staff while collaborating with licensed engineers firmwide
- Bachelor’s degree in civil or structural engineering from an ABET-accredited program
- Professional Engineer (PE) license in Oregon, or the ability to obtain licensure through reciprocity
- 10 years of related bridge design experience
- Experience with proposal development and client relationship management is advantageous
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Experience with MicroStation or equivalent CAD software, and bridge design software, familiarity with OpenBridge Modeler is a plus
- Strong communication, leadership, and collaboration skills
- Self-motivated and adaptable, with the ability to work effectively in a virtual and collaborative environment
