- Support engineers and senior CAD designers with transportation projects in Ohio and other regions
- Assist engineers and CAD designers with transportation projects with tasks such as drafting and design, creation / editing of technical drawings and materials for submittal packages
- Support completion of engineering calculations using Microsoft Excel
- Support creation of construction specifications using Microsoft Word
- Assist in training lower-level CAD technicians on MicroStation/OpenRoads, plan production, and best practices
- Vocational school or associate degree in related program preferred. Civil Engineering Technician preferred
- Highly proficient using MicroStation / OpenRoads and Microsoft Office required
- Experience in plan development for public agencies, counties and/or municipalities
- AutoCAD/Civil 3D experience is a plus
- Ability to train staff in AutoCAD / Civil 3D design / production a plus
- Ability to take verbal direction and implement into drawings and calculations to produce the final work
- Good communication skills, team player and detail oriented with a strong understanding of plan clarity
- Interested in training staff and supporting the growth of Transportation CADD team as a company resource for roadway, traffic, drainage and other discipline production efforts
