Bridge Engineer

Come work with senior-level professionals at an established A/E firm that values employee input and collaboration. Burgess & Niple is looking for a Bridge Engineer to join our team in our Mentor, Akron, or Erie office.

B&N Bridge Engineer Responsibilities

• Preparing technical designs on transportation projects
• Mentoring/coaching junior staff on transportation design
• Developing unique and complex solutions to bridge problems for projects and pursuits
• Meeting with clients with CSMs in developing scopes and fees
• Managing tasks and technical designs on projects
• Working with other offices in future pursuits and projects
  
  

Skills And Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET accredited engineering program
• PE registration is required
• 5-10 years of related bridge design experience
• Good communication skills, organization skills, team player, and detail oriented
• Experience with Microstation or AutoCAD plan development
• Strong interpersonal communication skills and written communication skills
