Role Description This is a full-time, on-site HVAC Installer role based in Saftey Harbor, FL and servicing the Tampa Bay area. The HVAC Installer will be responsible for installing, replacing, and setting up residential and light commercial heating, cooling, and indoor air quality systems according to company and industry standards. Daily tasks include reading and interpreting blueprints and work orders, safely handling refrigerants and tools, performing start-ups and testing system performance, and ensuring installations meet local codes and manufacturer specifications. The role also involves diagnosing basic installation-related issues, coordinating with team members and supervisors, and maintaining accurate documentation of work performed. The HVAC Installer will interact with customers on-site, explain system operation and maintenance, and uphold the company’s commitment to safety, cleanliness, and customer satisfaction.
Qualifications
- Prior experience as an HVAC installer or technician, preferably in residential or light commercial environments.
- Trade school training, HVAC certification, or equivalent on-the-job experience.
- Ability to use hand and power tools, read schematics and blueprints, and follow detailed installation instructions.
- Physical ability to work in attics, crawl spaces, and outdoors, and to lift equipment and materials as required by the job.
- Commitment to customer satisfaction, with professional communication skills and a service-oriented mindset in residential and light commercial settings.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to pass a drug test.
