- Ability to lift 50 or more pounds and ability to lift, carry, bend, crawl, squat, climb, kneel, push, pull, and crouch and able to stand for long period of time
- Perform physically demanding work.
- Ability to work in outdoor and industrial environments including heat, cold, dust, mud, and noise.
- Willingness to work overtime, weekends, and on-call shifts if needed.
- Perform preventive maintenance and timely equipment repairs
- Diagnose and repair diesel engines, hydraulic systems, pneumatic systems, electrical systems, and after-treatment systems (DEF, DPF, SCR).
- Complete scheduled PM services and identify equipment deficiencies before failures occur.
- Communicate effectively with equipment operators and supervisors regarding repair needs and equipment performance.
- Follow all company safety guidelines, lockout/tagout procedures, and OSHA regulations.
- Complete service reports and maintain a clean, organized workspace
- Self-motivated, with own tools
- Minimum 5 years’ mechanic experience
- Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record.
- Must be able to pass a drug test.
