Shift Supervisors are trained to perform all the duties performed by the Team Members, with additional responsibility for coordinating the daily operations of a restaurant in the Regional Manager's absence, ensuring, at the Regional Managers direction, compliance with BGR standards in all areas of operation including: product preparation and delivery, guest relations, restaurant maintenance, team oversight, inventory management, and other duties as required or assigned.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Primary responsibility includes performing all Team Member tasks in the following positions: prep, build, grill, fries, drinks & cashier.
Responsible for daily operations of the restaurant in the absence of the Regional Manager including: training employees, opening and closing the store, ensuring all food preparation is complete, coordinating employee breaks and shift changes, and completing shift summary reports.
Motivates and coaches Team Members and assists in the training of new hires.
Excels in performing all Team Member tasks in the following positions: prep, build, grill, fries, drinks & cashier.
Works as a team player to support other employees in completing their tasks.
May assist Regional Manager in day-to-day operations with tasks including scheduling, ordering, and team development.
Ensures that the OSHA, local health and safety codes, and BGR safety and security policies are followed.
Maintains fast, accurate and outstanding service, ensures an excellent guest experience, and makes sure all menu items are consistent with BGR standards.
Completes all other duties as assigned.
