Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Kitchen Leader to join our team in a fast-paced environment. The Kitchen Leader will play a crucial role in overseeing kitchen operations, ensuring high standards of food quality, safety, and customer service. This position requires strong leadership skills and a passion for the food industry, particularly in a quick service or fast food restaurant setting.

Responsibilities

• Supervise kitchen staff and coordinate daily kitchen operations to ensure efficiency and quality.
• Maintain high standards of food safety and sanitation practices in compliance with health regulations.
• Train and mentor kitchen staff in food preparation techniques, customer service, and operational procedures.
• Manage inventory levels, including ordering supplies and minimizing waste.
• Collaborate with management to develop menu items that meet customer preferences and seasonal trends.
• Utilize POS systems effectively for order processing and tracking sales.
• Ensure all kitchen equipment is maintained properly and report any issues promptly.
• Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork and high performance.

Experience

• Proven experience in hospitality management or kitchen management within the food industry.
• Background in supervising staff in a restaurant or catering environment is preferred.
• Familiarity with POS systems used in quick service fast food restaurants.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to interact positively with guests.
• Knowledge of food preparation techniques and culinary best practices.
