Duties

• Greet customers warmly, take their food orders accurately, and process transactions efficiently using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS.
• Prepare food items according to established recipes and safety standards, including basic food handling and sanitation practices.
• Operate kitchen equipment safely and maintain a clean, organized workspace to ensure food safety and quality.
• Upsell menu items by engaging customers with product knowledge to enhance their experience and increase sales.
• Manage cash register operations, process cash and card payments accurately, and handle cash transactions with integrity.
• Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, counters, and kitchen stations through bussing, sanitation, and food safety management.
• Assist with food service customer order management, ensuring timely delivery of orders while providing excellent customer service.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in quick service or fast food restaurants is highly preferred; food industry or café experience is a plus.
• Strong skills in POS systems operation such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; retail math and basic math proficiency are essential.
• Demonstrated ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Excellent customer service skills with a positive attitude and clear communication abilities.
• Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation procedures, and proper food handling techniques.
• Experience with operating kitchen equipment and processing cash transactions confidently.
• Retail sales experience including upselling techniques is advantageous; grocery store or food service experience is beneficial.

Pay: $14.25 - $16.00 per hour
