Responsibilities
- Assist in managing daily restaurant operations, including shift management and staff supervision.
- Support food preparation and ensure adherence to food safety standards across all kitchen activities.
- Oversee inventory control, including stock rotation and ordering to minimize waste and control costs.
- Handle cash transactions accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS.
- Train and develop team members on food handling, customer service, and operational procedures.
- Ensure excellent customer service by addressing guest inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
- Support budgeting efforts and monitor restaurant performance to meet operational goals.
Skills
- Proven experience in restaurant management or assistant manager roles within quick service or fast food environments.
- Strong knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and food safety regulations.
- Familiarity with POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS for cash handling and sales tracking.
- Excellent leadership skills with experience in staff training, supervising, and team management.
- Ability to manage inventory control, budgeting, and shift operations efficiently.
- Exceptional customer service skills with a focus on hospitality management.
- Prior experience in fine dining or casual dining settings is a plus; hospitality or hotel experience is advantageous.
