Duties
- Greet customers warmly and provide attentive, efficient service to enhance their dining experience
- Take food and beverage orders accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS
- Process cash and card transactions smoothly, including cash register operations and cash handling
- Assist with food preparation tasks when needed, ensuring quality standards are met
- Maintain cleanliness of the workspace, including bussing tables, sanitizing surfaces, and restocking supplies
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently while adhering to food safety management protocols
- Manage customer orders from start to finish with professionalism, ensuring timely delivery and satisfaction
- Support retail sales transactions if applicable, including grocery or merchandise sales
- Follow sanitation standards diligently to ensure food safety and hygiene compliance at all times
Requirements
- Previous experience in quick service or restaurant environments is highly preferred
- Strong customer service skills with a positive attitude and excellent communication abilities
- Familiarity with Toast POS system is a plus
- Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail
- Experience with food handling, sanitation practices, and operating kitchen equipment
- Demonstrated time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently throughout shifts
- Food industry knowledge including food safety management and proper serving techniques
- Retail or grocery store experience is advantageous but not required
