Role Summary
We are looking for an experienced UEFI / Embedded Firmware Engineer to work on modern computing platforms. The role involves end-to-end firmware development—from early platform bring-up to system validation and production release—while collaborating with hardware, system, and silicon teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain UEFI, MCU, and embedded firmware (C/C )
- Support platform bring-up and early hardware enablement
- Debug system-level issues related to performance, stability, and reliability
- Work closely with hardware, validation, OS, and silicon teams
- Contribute to firmware validation, automation, and CI/CD pipelines
- Deliver production-ready firmware aligned with timelines and quality standards
Required Skills
- Strong experience with UEFI / EDK2 (PEI, DXE, BDS, Runtime phases)
- Solid understanding of boot flow, platform initialization, secure boot
- Hands-on with board bring-up & hardware enablement
- Knowledge of low-level interfaces: I2C, SPI, UART, USB, PCIe, GPIO
- Experience with ACPI, SMBIOS, power management
- Debugging skills using JTAG, serial logs, oscilloscopes, logic analyzers
- Familiarity with firmware update / capsule update mechanisms
- Experience across firmware, drivers, OS, and hardware layers
- Tools: Git, CI/CD (Azure DevOps / Jenkins)
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with consumer/commercial device platform bring-up
- Collaboration with silicon vendors during enablement
- Exposure to firmware validation & test automation frameworks
