Registered Sanitarian - Texas
- Conduct field inspections regarding retail food establishments and public swimming pools to verify compliance with the Texas Food Establishment Rules, 2017 FDA Food Code and the State Standards for Public Swimming Pools and Spas.
- May require onsite education of facilities.
- This is a work from home position.
- Personal vehicle will be used to travel to client cities and conduct inspections on retail food establishments and public swimming pools.
- Shall complete most inspections on an IPAD and submit remotely.
- Assignments are made on a weekly basis.
- Flexible schedule available.
- As a Registered Sanitarian you will conduct assigned inspections of Retail Food Establishments, Public Swimming Pools and Spas, Public interactive Water Features to verify compliance with applicable codes and ordinances.
- Work independently, educate establishments and the public, problem solve and utilize exceptional customer service skills.
- Work closely with team to implement the program and assist in developing procedures and practices to provide consistency of operations.
- Ability to work independently.
- Good communication skills with the ability to train and educate others.
- Strong problem solving skills.
- Public swimming pool and Public Interactive Water Feature knowledge a plus.
- Registered Sanitarian or Sanitarian in Training with 1-3 years of field experience.
- Certified Pool Operator required.
- Swimming pool inspection experience a plus.
