- You will serve as a principal advisor on enterprise IT strategy, cybersecurity, and technology modernization initiatives.
- You will lead the planning, operation, security, and management of the Naval War College's independent classified and unclassified network environments supporting academic, research, administrative, and wargaming missions.
- You will function as the command's senior technical authority for information technology, information security, knowledge management, and telecommunications programs.
- You will evaluate emerging technologies, develop strategic IT solutions, and collaborate with Navy, DoD, academic, and industry partners to advance mission capabilities and innovation.
- You will provide second-level supervision through subordinate supervisors overseeing networking, systems, user services, application support, and contractor operations.
- You will represent the Naval War College leadership in strategic IT discussions with Navy and DOW organizations and serve as the CIO’s principal alternate.

- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS. You must be able to travel on commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
