Our AD100 client is looking for an experienced Interior Designer to support and work closely with the internal Design Team to efficiently execute projects within deadline constraints.
A growing interior design firm, Martin Brûlé Studio seeks a motivated designer with a minimum of 4 years of relevant design experience to join our practice. The ideal candidate should have experience in high-end renovations and architectural projects.
The Designer would work directly with the firm's principal designers to ensure the facilitation of a project’s completion meeting timelines and budgets. Candidates must be extremely organized, detail-oriented, and creative. An ideal Designer should have a high level of knowledge in concept development, design and construction documents, and project management skills.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- High level drafting using AutoCAD, including space planning, schedules, details of custom furniture, lighting, etc.
- Presentation tools including Adobe Suite and basic office software like Microsoft Office
- Knowledge of 3-D computer modeling skills (Sketchup, 3D Max, Rhino etc.) a plus
- Work closely with design team to execute projects but confident in leading a project from start to finish
- Knowledge of New York design resources - furniture, fabrics, wall coverings, vendors, artisans
