What are the responsibilities and job description for the Program Specialist position at Bureau of Engraving and Printing?
This position is located at Bureau of Engraving and Printing, OFFICE OF CURRENCY MANUFACTURING - DEPUTY PLANT MANAGER WCF. As a Program Specialist, you will be responsible for overseeing the operational and technical processes of the Office. Coordinate management services and programs; performs special studies; and leads special projects essential to the smooth operation and management of the Office.
For the GS-13, you must have one year of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the GS-12 grade level in the Federal service. Specialized experience is defined as experience managing projects, which includes planning, execution, resolution of issues, and communicating and coordinating with multiple offices, programs, or divisions.
Examples of such experience could include:
- Planning and coordinating testing activities such as process improvement initiatives, new product qualification, and feasibility assessments between multiple offices.
- Providing support for internal and external audits such as analyzing responses to audit findings, developing corrective action plans, or addressing nonconformance issues.
- Formulating plans, policies, and procedures to ensure compliance with organizational objectives.
- Developing, presenting, and advising management on the status of performance objectives.
Qualifications:
