Production Design Intern
The marketing team at Bureau of Education & Research is seeking a talented design intern ready to learn and help produce marketing materials. The marketing team is a small, tight-knit team where you’ll learn and work in a high production environment. At BER, we’re passionate about what we do, loyal to each other, and to our company. This position offers first-hand experience creating production ready assets in both print and digital formats.
As Production Design Intern, you will learn to thrive in a high-volume production environment working on marketing materials: printed brochures, digital catalogs, email campaigns, web content, and other collateral. You may be a good fit if you are passionate about design and take pride in completing your work with efficient accuracy. To be successful you’ll need to have great attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
Responsibilities:
• Learn to manage high-volume production of brochure projects, each with multiple rounds of edits.
• Help monitor and adapt file standards to meet vendor requirements, ensuring high quality printing.
• Work on web projects including email campaigns and HTML/CSS coding.
• Help with production of other marketing materials as needed: digital catalogs, email campaigns, company newsletters, web assets, etc.
• Learn production skills and file/asset management, to help complete projects with minimal supervision.
Requirements:
• Knowledge in Adobe Creative Suite—especially InDesign, Photoshop, and Dreamweaver—on Windows.
• Basic knowledge of HTML and CSS.
• An understanding of the principles of design, typography, photography, and color.
• Enrollment in or recent completion of a degree program in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or related fields
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience in Production Design.
• Ability to collaborate, support, and problem solve with people in different functions.
• Strong organizational skills, especially related to file creation and versioning.
• Attention to detail in a deadline-driven production environment.
Job Type: Internship
Pay: $26.50 an hour
Work Location: In-office (Bellevue, WA)
Schedule:
• May 4, 2026 – August 28, 2026, with flexibility on start and end dates
• 8-hour shift; 40 hours a week
• Monday to Friday; In-Office
