Schedules: 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM  - 7:00 PM to  7:00 am - 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM   Cleaning Schedule:  6:00 AM to 6:00 PM
Pay: $14.00/hour  (DIFFERENTIAL SHIFT FOR NIGHT SCHEDULE OF $1.00)

A 90-day probationary period with a potential $2.00/hour increase based on performance and attendance. After this period, the employee will have the option to transfer directly to the company and may be eligible for an additional increase.

Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking General Laborer to join our sawmill operation. The role involves physically demanding tasks in an outdoor environment of precut wooden lumber.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ability to use hand and power tools as hammers, and nail guns, strip wrap as needed.

• Follow instructions provided by the lead person or supervisor, and other authorized personnel

• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working area for you and others

• Adhere to all safety procedures and company protocols. (MANDATORY THE USE OF PPE)

• Support general mill operations as assigned. Other duties or responsibilities may be assigned if your line or department is down.

Requirements:

• Must wear steel-toe shoes, hard hat, vest, safety glasses at all times on-site (MANDATORY).

• Requires the ability to stand for long periods, twist and bend frequently, walk for extended periods, and perform continuous hand use.

• Must be able to lift 45–55 lbs regularly without restrictions.

• Ability to tolerate and work in changing inclement weather conditions, like hot and cold.

• Strong adherence to safety, time, and attendance policies, company is very demanding.

• Willingness to work in a fast-paced, hands-on environment, and must be able to work overtime during the high season.
