Position Details
- Type: Salaried, Exempt
- Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
- Location: On-site, Queensbury, NY
- Salary Range: $65K-$77k/yr
Key Responsibilities (including, but not limited to):
- Oversee day-to-day warehouse operations and supervise warehouse associates
- Address performance issues and administer disciplinary actions when necessary
- Receive and inspect incoming shipments in accordance with established procedures
- Coordinate and organize inventory transfers
- Review, organize, and verify outgoing shipments for accuracy
- Prepare and process small packages, LTL shipments, and FTL shipments, including packing, palletizing, and system entry
- Maintain accurate inventory through cycle counts and regular audits
- Ensure a safe, clean, and organized warehouse environment
- Assist customers with loading as needed
- Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments with internal teams
- Enter and manage work orders within internal systems
- Perform quality control checks as needed
- Conduct team meetings and communicate operational updates
- Approve time sheets, manage time-off requests, and track attendance
- Respond to emails and internal communications in a timely manner
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- 1-2 years of warehouse management experience preferred
- Experience with freight and small package shipments preferred
- Demonstrated ability to lead a team and work collaboratively across departments
Skills & Physical Requirements
- Basic computer skills, including data entry and familiarity with warehouse systems
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Dependable, reliable, and detail-oriented
- Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds regularly and up to 70 pounds occasionally
- Ability to stand and work on your feet for extended periods, up to 8 hours per day
