Job Summary OPENING DETAILS: Days: Monday - Friday, schedule varies Hours: Part-time; Between 8 am - 9 pm, depending on program Location - Muir Middle School Hourly Rate - $50 per hour Focus - Choir Choreography PRIMARY FUNCTION: Under the supervision of a school administrator, provides instructional support for performing arts students. Duties of the Visual and Performing Arts Instructor: Choreography /Dance, include developing lesson plans and delivering California State Standards aligned instruction within established curriculum guidelines; collaborative planning and instruction with classroom teachers, staff, and administrators to address instructional needs of students; and assist classroom teachers in providing individual, ensemble, and whole class instruction.
Requirements / Qualifications
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: High School diploma 1 year of experience teaching dance to students; group choreography Training in dance/choreography
