Independent Delivery Drivers are 1099 employees.
Job Summary:
As an Independent Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for making deliveries in a pleasant, timely manner, according to our company’s standards. Drivers are responsible for bringing the "Buona" experience to homes, offices and more by providing outstanding customer service on the-go.
Responsibilities:
- Arrive on time for deliveries - if late, call ASAP.
- Follow all approved procedure for deliveries including setup, sort and clean
- Adhere to all local, state, and federal health and civil code regulations
- Greet all customers and provide them with prompt and highly friendly, courteous service or assistance, always ensuring they are satisfied.
- Ensure uniform and personal appearance is neat, clean and well-groomed at all times while observing company dress code.
- Take care of vehicles and any other equipment provided - includes filling out driver checklist before departure and after arrival to store, and support to maintain clean vehicles.
- Vehicle safety - observe all rules of the road and follow parking rules and regulations at delivery sites.
- Observe shift operating hours at all times, as scheduled or assigned by manager
- Adhere to all store rules and company policies
Qualifications:
- Must be at least 19 years of age
- Must have a valid driver’s license
- Must provide proof of insurance
- Must have a vehicle (drivers must use their own vehicles)
- Must successfully pass a background check and motor vehicle report
