What are the responsibilities and job description for the Warehouse Cleaner/ Porter | Night Shift position at Bunzl?
The Warehouse Cleaner/Porter is responsible for keeping the warehouse clean and free of debris.
Night Shift |4pm Start Time
Responsibilities:
- Operate bailer in a safe and responsible manner
- Keep lines and plant floors free of cardboard and other debris
- Manually load and unload trucks and pallets
- Keep trash containers emptied
- Maintain stocked and clean restrooms at all times
- Break area maintained and cleaned daily
- Operate sweeper as needed
Requirements:
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds on a consistent basis with or without reasonable accommodations
- Job requires maximum bending, reaching, lifting, and carrying
- Must be able to stand while working for an entire shift
- Must be able to work in and withstand varying temperatures throughout different seasons
- Overtime is required based on business demands; sometimes on short notice
- Previous warehouse/forklift operation experience a plus but not required
- Must be dependable and a team player
- Strong attention to detail
