Production Worker (Seasonal)

Monte Package Company, a Bunzl company, is seeking 2026 Seasonal Production Workers for our facility in Riverside, MI (May 15th - September 15th). The Production Workers will perform all tasks involved in the production of the company’s products while following standard work methods and practicing safe work habits, ensuring production is as efficient and safe as possible.

Responsibilities:

• Operate automatic labeling machines including set-up and tear down of jobs with attention to detail, quality of label, accuracy and speed
• Operate carton machines including set-up and tear down of jobs with attention to detail, accuracy, and speed
• Read and complete work orders accurately
• Identify and troubleshoot common machine labeling problems
• Clean equipment including adhesives, conveyor belts and tools
• Maintain a neat and orderly work area at all times
• Maintain equipment as required and notify management of any maintenance or repairs needed
• Provide leadership for production assistants to ensure that they are performing tasks in an efficient and productive manner
  
  

Requirements:

• Ability to read, write and comprehend complex written or oral instructions and correspondence in English
• Ability to perform common mathematical skills, such as multiplying and adding
• Effectively teach and cross-train employees
• Must be able to use electronic equipment
• Experience in a warehouse environment a plus
• Must be able to lift and/or move up to 50 lbs. periodically, with or without reasonable accommodations
• Must be able to stand for long periods of time while reaching with hands and arms for an entire shift
• Specific vision abilities include sharp vision, focus, depth perception and ability to identify colors
