Bunzl Safety is currently hiring for a 3rd shift Material Handler for our facility in Piperton, TN. The Material Handler has the general responsibility for replenishment of product from bulk to picking locations utilizing material handling equipment. This position is responsible for off-loading and stacking boxes, ensuring replenishments are done daily, and safe forklift operation. This position will also be responsible for ensuring products are received in and put away before end of shift and ensuring accurate inventory.
Third shift hours can start between 9:00pm-11:00pm (Monday - Friday), depending on which working hours are chosen.

Responsibilities:
- Perform the replenishment of various materials.
- Work with the replenishment supervisor and inventory control to ensure material is being placed in the proper bins at the correct quantities with the correct transfers being made.
- Ensure that all products replenished in the warehouse are free of defects and moved according to the transfer order quantity and bin location
- Maintain efficient and safe operation of all material handling equipment.
- Maintain a clean, neat, and orderly work area and equipment. Assist in maintaining the security of the warehouse area. Conduct operations in a manner which promotes safety and in accordance with OSHA / MSDS Standards.
- Complete all necessary reports in a timely and accurate fashion.
- Assure the integrity of the inventory and assist in investigating replenishment issues.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- 1 year of material handling experience preferred
- Forklift experience preferred
- No prior experience necessary but is preferred
- Must be able to lift, push, and pull 70 pounds on a regular basis.
- Will be required to have completed or to satisfactorily complete the Fork Truck training program.
