Responsibilities:
- Identify and qualify potential suppliers globally based on quality, cost, and delivery requirements.
- Conduct supplier audits and assessments to ensure compliance with company standards and industry best practices.
- Negotiate contracts with suppliers to secure favorable pricing and terms.
- Develop and implement supplier development initiatives to drive performance improvements.
- Lead Global Product Launch Process working with internal and external stakeholders
- Collaborate with internal teams (Engineering, Procurement, Quality) to address supply chain challenges to align on requirements.
- Monitor supplier performance using key performance indicators (KPIs) and prepare reports for senior management.
- Stay updated on market trends and emerging technologies to provide strategic sourcing recommendations.
- High school diploma or GED required
- Bachelor’s Degree or higher
- 2 Years experience in a Manufacturing Environment
- Proven Results finding new suppliers and building a relationship
- Technical understanding of engineering drawings
- Ability to obtain and analyze landed costs
- Ability to find and develop new/existing suppliers
- Must be able to travel 10% - 25% both domestically and internally
