As a Customer Service Representative (CSR), you’ll support business customer accounts by handling a high volume of inbound calls, emails, and order inquiries. You’ll work closely with a team of 6–8 peers to resolve order, product, pricing, billing, and delivery issues quickly and accurately.
This role acts as a key customer support liaison between sales, warehouse operations, billing, and customers—ensuring a smooth order experience from start to finish.
Location & Schedule
This is an onsite role in our Dallas, TX office, day shift, Monday–Friday, Friday is a remote day.
Responsibilities:
- Handle 50–100 daily customer interactions (inbound calls, email, EDI, and fax).
- Process and manage high-volume customer orders with strong accuracy and attention to detail.
- Investigate and resolve order issues, billing discrepancies, and delivery concerns.
- Act as a point of contact between customers, sales, warehouse, and billing teams.
- Expedite orders and ensure timely fulfillment.
- Build strong relationships with customers and internal stakeholders through high-quality customer service.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to solve problems and meet customer needs.
- Maintain knowledge of products, systems, and company processes.
- Support additional customer service and administrative tasks as needed.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- 1 years of customer service, call center, or account support experience preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and make autonomous decisions to resolve customer inquiries and escalate when appropriate.
- Experience with order entry, order processing, or ERP systems is a plus.
- Strong communication skills (phone, email, and written).
- Ability to manage high call volume and competing priorities.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel & CoPilot).
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Team player with a willingness to cross-train and support others.
- Experience with AS400 or similar ERP/order management system preferred.
