What are the responsibilities and job description for the Operator - Automation - 2nd shift position at Bunting Magnetics Co.?
Job Duties:
- Prepares components and materials necessary to be installed in and utilized by the automation machinery.
- Recognizes problems with equipment and components on an on-going basis; determines how they may affect the operation of the equipment and the quality of the products being produced.
- Tests components and finished goods using calipers, height gauges, etc. to ensure all goods are being produced as per quality standards and practices set forth; and records data.
Skills:
- Ability to stand, walk, and work over equipment for long periods of time.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs.
- Ability to follow instructions pertaining to the processing and testing of all machinery, equipment, and materials.
- 1 years previous experience operating machinery preferred but not required.- Ability to analyze problems and provide solutions which will minimize equipment down-time.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $17.00 per hour
