Assistant childcare teacher

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Child Care Teacher to join our team. Duties

• Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that align with educational standards and promote literacy, math, and physical education.
• Create a safe, welcoming, and inclusive classroom environment that encourages exploration and learning.
• Manage classroom behavior effectively while promoting positive interactions among students.
• Conduct assessments to monitor children's progress and adapt teaching strategies accordingly.
• Provide individualized support for children with special needs or those requiring early intervention.
• Foster strong communication with parents regarding their child's development, progress, and any concerns.
• Maintain accurate records of student attendance, behavior, and academic performance.
• Collaborate with colleagues to enhance curriculum development and classroom management practices.
• Engage in continuous professional development to stay current with best practices in early childhood education.

Experience

• Proven experience working with children in a daycare, preschool, or private school setting is essential.
• Strong background in childhood development principles and behavior management techniques.
• Familiarity with standardized testing procedures and literacy education strategies is preferred.
• Experience in curriculum development, lesson planning, and classroom management is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of Montessori methods or similar educational philosophies is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with students, parents, and staff members.
