- Position Overview
Minimum Position Requirements
- High School or General Education Equivalent (GED)
- Ability to attend to detail and work in a time-conscious and time-effective manner.
- Basic level proficiency in MS Office applications (Word & Excel).
- Good handwriting skills
- Ability to use hand tools and testing apparatuses.
- Ability to stand, squat, kneel or bend over for extended periods.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Must be self-motivated, able to efficiently work independently while completing scheduled tasks
- Must be able to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing with team members, and BLE leadership.
- Geotechnical Soils and Concrete sample processing
- Utilizing basic measurement tools
- Performing basic soil and concrete tests such as:
- Standard or Modified Proctors, ASTM D698/D1557
- Atterberg Limits, ASTM D4318
- Soil Sieve Analysis, ASTM D422/6913
- Hydrometer Sieve Analysis, ASTM D7928
- Concrete Compressive Strength Testing, ASTM C39
- California Bearing Ratio, ASTM D1883
- Specific Gravity of Soils, ASTM D854
