In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the smooth operation of our kitchen and support the front of house staff in delivering an exceptional dining experience. Duties
- Assist in food preparation, including chopping, slicing, and cooking ingredients according to recipes and standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including washing dishes, sanitizing surfaces, and disposing of waste properly.
- Support chefs and kitchen staff by stocking supplies, managing inventory, and ensuring all necessary items are readily available.
- Follow food safety guidelines to ensure that all food is stored, handled, and prepared safely.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service during peak hours.
- Participate in regular cleaning tasks, including deep cleaning equipment and kitchen areas as required.
- Assist with other duties as assigned by kitchen management.
Qualifications
- Food Handler Certificate (Highly Preferred)
- Previous experience in a kitchen or restaurant environment is preferred but not required.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail.
- Knowledge of food safety practices is a plus.
- Must be able to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 pounds as needed.
