Hotel Saint Augustine is looking for candidates to join our newly opened property! Hotel Saint Augustine is a new 71-room property located in the heart of the Montrose neighborhood. The hotel is spread across five small buildings with an all-day restaurant, lobby bar, and intimate event space. The Restaurant Manager manages a single, full-service food and beverage outlet daily and may coordinate special events. Responsible for staffing, scheduling and training of staff. Ensure compliance with standards of service and operating procedures. We believe our guests select Hyatt because of our caring and attentive colleagues who are focused on providing efficient service and meaningful experiences.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• High School diploma or general education degree (GED). College Degree preferred
• Two (2) years related experience in hospitality or service industry
• Must be able to speak, read, write and understand the primary language(s) of the workplace
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals
• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
• Ability to speak effectively before groups of colleagues and other departments.
• Setting a high standard of care and respect for colleagues.
• Ability to create documents in Excel and Word
• Ability to understand other computer programs (i.e. Property Management System and Point of Sale)
• Ability to apply concepts of math including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division and algebra, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
