Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accounting Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing various accounting functions, ensuring accuracy in financial records, and supporting compliance with accounting. Your expertise in financial software and accounting systems will be essential to streamline processes, perform account reconciliations, and assist with financial reporting. Duties
- Manage accounts accounts receivable processes using software such as AGRIS.
- Conduct data entry and account reconciliation tasks with high accuracy using Excel data analysis techniques and 10 key typing skills.
- Assist with month-end closing activities.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls by maintaining thorough documentation of financial transactions.
- Prepare and provide regular weekly, monthly, and yearly accounting reports.
Requirements
- Proven experience in accounting environments.
- Solid understanding of financial concepts including debits & credits, journal entries, account reconciliation, and double-entry bookkeeping.
- Experience working with AGRIS and managing accounts payable/receivable workflows.
- Excellent numeracy skills combined with attention to detail for data entry and account analysis tasks.
