Job Overview
We are seeking a vigilant and dependable Armed Security Guard to maintain safety and security within our premises. The ideal candidate will be responsible for patrolling designated areas, responding promptly to resident calls, and enforcing parking regulations. This role requires a strong sense of responsibility, excellent observational skills, and the ability to handle various security situations professionally. The hours of operations are as follows
Overnight 12:00 AM - 8:00 AM
2nd Shift: 4:00 PM - 12:00 AM
Duties
- Conduct foot patrols throughout the property to monitor for suspicious activity and ensure safety.
- Respond promptly to resident calls or security alerts, providing assistance or intervention as needed.
- Enforce parking regulations to maintain order and prevent unauthorized parking.
- Monitor security cameras and other surveillance equipment to identify potential issues.
- Maintain detailed logs of patrols, incidents, and actions taken during shifts.
- Collaborate with law enforcement or emergency services when necessary.
- Uphold company policies and procedures related to security protocols.
Qualifications
- Prior experience in security or law enforcement is preferred but not mandatory.
- Ability to perform foot patrols efficiently and effectively over extended periods.
- Strong observational skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for interacting with residents and team members.
- Ability to remain calm and professional in high-pressure situations.
- Physical fitness suitable for patrolling large areas on foot.
