What are the responsibilities and job description for the Doggie Daycare Attendant position at Bunk and Biscuit?
Bunk and Biscuit in Niles, MI is looking for qualified individuals for the position of Doggie Daycare Tech. We are looking for someone who enjoys an active job and understands the importance of working as a team.
Ideal candidates will have experience handling dogs outside of the home environment, in a related pet industry job. Knowledge of dog behavior, body language and handling is a plus. Though we will train the right candidate! This is a job where you are on your feet and interacting with dogs and cleaning throughout the entire shift. It is a very active and hands on job!
Our Doggie Daycare position is FULL TIME. They are 11 hour shifts, 4 week days a week, no weekends or holidays. If these hours do not work for you please do not apply.
How our Doggie Daycare Techs spend their day:
· Supervising a group of up to 15 dogs at a time. Engaging dogs in activities throughout the day.
· Keeping up with cleanliness of facility. Picking up after the dogs, cleaning the indoor rooms and outdoor spaces for the dogs, as well as laundry and dishes.
· Feeding lunch and medications.
· Writing report cards and documenting information as needed about the dogs.
· Interacting with clients about their dogs, checking dogs in and out of the system and overall building trustworthy relationships!
Applicants are required to be over 18 years of age. Starting pay is $14 per hour (negotiable with related industry experience). After 90 day of employment, tech tips are included, raising your pay an average of $2 more per hour. Blue Cross/Blue Shield Medical, Dental and Vision insurance are offered after 90 days as well.
