What are the responsibilities and job description for the Extraction Operator position at Bunge and Careers?
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Operate all aspects of soybean processing.
- Know and follow all safety, environmental, and emergency procedures.
- Keep all work areas buildings and grounds clean, at all times.
- Actively participate in all aspects of safety including near-miss reporting and meetings.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Ability to take instruction and follow directions
- Comfort working safely in high places and confined spaces
- Ability to work indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions
- Must show initiative and demonstrate strong customer service skills
- Must be self-motivated with the ability to work unsupervised
- Strong reading and writing skills
- Positive attitude
- Good attendance
Preferred Qualifications:
- High school graduate or GED
- Background in agriculture
- Strong mechanical skills
- Proficiency in basic computer skills
