Duties
- Wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans using dishwashing equipment and by hand.
- Maintain cleanliness of the dishwashing area and kitchen floors by sweeping and mopping as needed.
- Properly store clean dishes and utensils in designated areas to ensure easy access for kitchen staff.
- Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.
- Support the kitchen team by removing used dishes during peak service times.
- Participate in regular cleaning tasks, including deep cleaning of kitchen equipment and areas as scheduled.
Experience
While previous experience in a hospitality or food service role is preferred, it is not required. Ideal candidates will possess:
